IFS is supporting the growing interest in its Tecnau range of solutions, dedicated to paper handling, monitoring, processing and finishing for the digital printing industry, with the appointment of Dawn Kelley as Digital Solutions Sales Specialist.
Kelley brings with her 26 years print experience to the new role. Her first 18 years were spent in used machinery specialising in international sales and also running her own business as independent consultant for sourcing, selling, moving and installing high value capital print equipment globally.
This included all types of sheet fed offset lithographic presses, from the small format offset market to the multi-colour B1 and AO size manufacturers including Heidelberg, Komori, Roland, Mitsubishi, Sakurai, Shinohara and Ryobi. She also bought and sold finishing solutions from folders to guillotines and all kinds of specialist ancillary finishing equipment.
For the past seven years she has focused on digital production, initially with Kodak selling the Nexpress digital engines into high volume digital and transactional markets. More recently, with Konica Minolta, she has been selling into the mid volume commercial graphic arts and public sector digital print markets, a role that also very much involved the sourcing of third party digital workflow and finishing solutions to fulfil complete end-to-end production solutions.
“Tecnau offers integrated solutions to support the broadest array of applications for transactional printing, transpromo, direct mail, publishing, graphic arts, books on demand and short run,” explains Kelley. “Its solutions increase productivity, reduce labour and paper costs, and even make new applications possible. I am looking forward to working with operations to see what benefits they can embrace.”
She continues: “Having been approached by Bryan Godwyn, with whom I had previously worked for in 2006, I was presented with an exciting career move to work for IFS. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring my wealth of industry knowledge, experience and contacts to the role to promote the Tecnau range through direct sales force of IFS with its already highly established UK market and also through the digital print partner resellers into an extremely fast growing and exciting technology market in the UK. I am looking forward to meeting with existing customers and potential clients alike to discuss any future requirements and business opportunities moving forward.
Adds Managing Director Bryan Godwyn: “We have seen interest develop in the range as printers realise the savings continuous feed print can deliver. Dawn will help our customers make the most of these to help them growth their business effectively and confidently.”
