Happy New Year everyone and let’s hope it brings peace and prosperity for all!
2016 was an exciting year and we have no doubt that 2017 will be the same.
In a world of constant change we all need to look forward and embrace the new era.
At Intelligent Finishing Systems we are proud of our pedigree and where we have come from but also look forward to new challenges for this year and beyond.
Tony and Pauline Hards retired at the end of 2016 and we thank them for all their efforts over their long careers with us. We wish them a wonderful retirement spending time with their grandchildren, travelling and enjoying a relaxed life.
2017 has started with a bang for IFS as we have welcomed Jason Smith in Technical Sales, Nuno Carvelho in Technical Services and Emma Godwyn as Marketing Coordinator. They will enable us to continue to positively serve our customers.
We have many events and plans for 2017. The first will be Print Live in March where we will be showcasing “Books Books and Books”. We will highlight how to make books effectively and efficiently using the Horizon range of perfect binding machinery and also the Tecnau sheeter and unwinder.
In October we will once again attend IPEX at the NEC. There we will showcase new solutions from Horizon and other manufacturers systems all designed to make your finishing department more efficient and profitable.
In between we will host open days and other events both here in the UK and at Horizon’s European Headquarters in Quickborn near Hamburg, Germany.
As always, we extend a warm welcome to you to visit us at our showroom. We would be delighted to run through our practical demonstrations on how our systems can support fluid workflows. Our technical support staff can also answer any of your questions or help you work through any production bottlenecks.
Warm wishes to all for the coming year.
