Further to the advice of HM Government. IFS is following all guidelines issued in order to protect employees and restrict site visits as we do our bit to fight the spread of Covid-19.

We are open for business and will continue to operate during the crisis, but we have made the decision to restrict our activities. All of our team members are now working from home or have been placed on furlough leave until May 4.

Our Sales, Service and Spare Parts lines remain active and our Technical Services team will be on hand to provide remote technical support and advice. In the event of a breakdown we will, as always, use our best endeavours within the confines of these current restrictions to get your machine back in operation as quickly as possible.

With this in mind we are postponing all scheduled maintenance visits from our Technical Services team and have put all machine installations on hold until May 4.

In the event of a machine breakdown in a situation where you are producing print work in support of ‘essential’ services and where you will require the on site presence of an engineer or technician, we will aim to prioritise this. Essential services falling into these categories:

Health and social care

Education and childcare

Key public services

Local and national government

Food and other necessary goods

Public safety and national security

Transport

Utilities, communication and financial services
