Leading finishing equipment manufacturer Horizon has launched a remote bespoke demonstration service to guide customers through their decision-making and purchasing choices.
From its state-of-the-art European facility in Quickborn, near Hamburg, Horizon is offering live presentations of its complete portfolio of solutions including bookletmakers, perfect binders, folders, creasers and trimmers. Customers can request to see individual solutions or complete production lines in action.
The appointment only service has been launched partly in response to the social distancing measures currently in place to tackle COVID-19 and partly to help operations reduce their carbon footprint and save costs by cutting down on travel.
A Horizon demonstrator and camera operator will highlight the best of the featured system at a safe distance from each other while also delivering close up shots and responsively reacting to any viewer questions.
Customers can attend individually from their PCs. They can also send specific jobs to be run and raise any questions during the demonstration.
Recordings can be made for review at a later stage and follow up questions can be asked.
“This is a quick and easy way for operations to see their desired system in action,” says Eric Keane, IFS Managing Director. “The dedicated demonstration is tailored to the specific operation so the decision-making team can see for themselves how the system runs and how it can manage their work mix. The Horizon team can also make operational suggestions based on their knowledge and highlight opportunities for growth the new addition could open up.”
He continues: “Those that then want to see a system more closely can follow up, restrictions notwithstanding, with a visit to an existing nearby customer. It is a very time efficient way to understand the benefits delivered and the impact the new investment could make.”
Bookings for bespoke demonstrations can be made now by contacting IFS.
