The beginning of the year has already got off to a busy start  and there are a number of dates for your diary we don’t want you to miss out on.

February 20 to 23 is Hunkeler Innovationdays in Lucerne. Horizon will again be among the manufacturers showing new technology. It will focus on efficiency and how to make books quickly and economically without compromising on quality.

The Tecnau range of sheeters, unwinders and roll to roll finishing systems that IFS supplies compliments this process. They enable companies take a fresh look at how they produce their work and challenge themselves to find the most efficient process.

March 8 and 9 at Wasps Arena, Coventry, IFS is participating in the Print Week Live! workshops and exhibition. There we plan to showcase Tecnau working alongside Horizon and Foliant to produce books in the most effective and economic way.

It will again highlight what was on display in Lucerne without the need travel to Switzerland!

Our technical team will demonstrate how printers can make a real change to their production environment. At the same time there will be live demonstrations alongside a workshop which will show real practical solutions to printers’ current challenges.

Hot on the heels of Print Week Live! is our own traditional spring open house that we hold with Apex. Litho, digital and finishing will all work seamlessly together in Apex’s Hemel Hempstead showroom. More detals to follow.

Other key partners such as Renz, KAS and Imprint will be on hand to pass on tips of the trade and highlight their advice on how to enhance workflow and make production gains.

And to top that off is free advice to businesses on many topics of concern from the IPIA.
