IFS Unfolds Fresh Branding

IFS has revealed a new clean-cut modern branding that echos the traditional paper transforming skill of origami.

Retaining IFS’s trademark red, the new look IFS logo reflects some of the finishing stages printers undergo in the bindery process.

It also references origami, a traditional Japanese art of taking of a sheet of paper and converting it to add value.

Japan is the home of Horizon – the manufacturer of on-demand finishing solutions that IFS has represented in the UK and Ireland for more than 30 years.

“IFS is always looking to offer our customers the most industry relevant, easy-to-use, efficient and effective systems to deliver highly responsive, fast-turnaround, bindery capabilities,” states Bryan Godwyn, joint IFS Managing Director.

“We wanted to demonstrate this commitment with a new look that gives the impression of a vibrant, energetic and continually evolving operation and we believe our new branding achieves just that.”

Tony Hards, Joint Managing Director, adds: “IFS is recognised a supplier of an extensive portfolio of robust, reassuringly reliable and market tried and tested systems. A core element is the Horizon on-demand finishing solutions which include the market leading Horizon StitchLiner booklet production line and the UK’s best-selling BQ270 perfect binder.

“Other long term partner relationships include Perfecta guillotines, Durselen drills, Italdibipack shrinkwrappers and Toppy paper handling equipment. We also regularly update our offering to include market-ready systems that enable our customers to introduce new bindery processes to retain as many costs as possible in-house as well as enter new market arenas to help increases opportunities to enhance profitability. Among the newest partnerships are Foliant laminators, Petratto specialist packaging lines, SCS photobooks and Tecnau LasermaxRoll paper roll solutions.”

The new branding will be supported by the soon to be launched website and customer magazine Unfolded.
